We will continue to insist that racial injustice in Delaware be addressed at the most basic level. Continuing with the death penalty and its racial disparities conveys the message that black and brown lives don’t matter and that Delaware’s political leaders do not care. The black community will hold the democrats in charge of Delaware accountable and we will continue to work towards the inevitable end of our state’s death penalty.”
